Originally from London, England, I began to take golf seriously at the age of 14 – attaining my first handicap of 15 at the Drift Golf Club in Surrey. Over the next five years, I gave up soccer and golf became my life. While playing club golf, as well as county-level amateur golf, I got my handicap down to 0 by the age of 17 and continued to compete at a high level in national and international amateur events.
At the age of 19 I began to undertake my PGA training through the University of Birmingham and qualified in 2011 with a full degree in golf studies. It was after this that I discovered a passion for coaching and helping people to improve and develop their game. My coaching career began at Horton Park Country Club in Epsom, where I learned from some highly skilled coaches and developed my own coaching style, while continuing to play in South of England professional events. During my coaching career in the UK, I was selected to coach at the 2013 Open Championship Swing-Zone at Muirfield, Scotland. In addition, I ran many junior development programs.
Since moving to Australia in 2015, I have been head golf coach and venue manager at Big Swing Golf Melbourne, where I quickly became one of the busiest coaches in Melbourne – giving lessons to over 600 clients. Combining state of the art information from Full Swing Golf simulators with my own video analysis and ability to fix the root cause of the issue, I have been helping golfers of all ages and abilities for the past five years at BSG Melbourne.
